WHY TRAINER IS NECESSARY WHILE PRACTICING YOGA

WHY TRAINER IS NECESSARY WHILE PRACTICING YOGA

In Indian philosophy 'Guru' (Teacher) has the superior position then God. Mother is the first guru, then others . There are so many quatations, stories, says are available in Indian texts for greatness of 'guru' in life but a quatation from Shri-Mad-Bhagwad-Geeta which we should keep in our minds.

Properly done pranayam is beneficial in all disease but improperly done pranayam may lead various diseases
-Hath yoga pradipika
Yoga is a way of life like music & diet .It's influence may evideant in long term but changing in yourself you can judge after practicing 3-4 days if done in the right way.

Sometimes it may be harmful to your body like internal bleeding in ulcer, giddiness, hiatus hernia, damage to knee, diarrhoea, neck-aches, but only & only when not done in right way, that's why practices should be obtained through a perfect trainer.

With yoga having successfull colonised the urban mind, there is a shortage of good teachers ,Teachers are now being mass manufactured , or are manufacturing themselves, to meet the huge demand , and this huge demand for yoga is creating a mass produce of mediocre teachers and this is resulting in disturbing injuries.

If pranayam not done in right way it may provide respiratory disorders,head-ache,eye,ear pain

-Hath yoga pradipika

The selection of perfect guru is given a huge importance everywhere in Indian philosophy (learning yoga dance, music, education, technologies....everywhere) & perfect guru is only who has the feelings of guruness, who has perfect (minimum) qualification of his field as well as related all fields & has ethics of Ideal life in practical.

In our day to day life ,we see that we always get suggestions from specialist /masters of desired field even we take care while using electricity, while walking ,sitting, standing, eating and over all everywhere & we accept only perfect things ,Then the yoga is the base of life ,a complete life-science,& then why we learn yoga from any Tom,dick Herry? We must learn yoga from a perfect gure.

Note :- Here we do not want to forget to know you that we did not use the word'GURU' for ourselves, we always presented us as Trainer or practitionar bcoz our theory says that a man is always a student life , He learn in hiss daily from each & every one whomever he meets ,& We are also still students we learn always from each & every person whoever meet to us ;that's why we always feel a guru in everyone & feel necessory of 'guru' always in lives.

Due to all above reason 'guru' is must.

WHAT IS YOGA

WHAT IS YOGA

Yoga means ‘Add’
Add Atma (soul) with Parmatma (Supreme soul)
Add to individual with society
i.e. yoga is to be tune with nature of supreme reality

Derived from the Sanskrit root “Yujir Yogey” meaning to unite, to yoke, to join, to put together, Yoga is not about mind over body. On the other hand, Yoga is about developing harmony between them. In Yoga, you use your mind to perceive (diagnose) and guide (heal) your body Never control, let alone force it!

Yoga is a philosophical as well as physical way of emphasizing harmony of body mind & soul. Yoga apart from its metaphysical teaching is beneficial to body wiz preceed & developed by our great saint Maharishi Patanjali.

Yoga is a 5000 year old science whose teachings were first imparted not in a classroom or Gurukul, but on the battle field In the epic Mahabharata, the sage, Lord Krishna is first said to have imparted the teachings of Yoga to his despondent student Arjuna. Around 1500 years later, another sage, Patanjali, went on to enunciate, for the benefit of humankind and eternity, the way to reach the summom bonum of life through a series of 195 aphorisms (sutras) in his epic treatise The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali

In Shree-mad-bhagwad-Geeta lord Krishna defines it very clearly

Yoga is a way of life, a conscious act, not a set or series of learning principles. The dexterity, grace, and poise you cultivate, as a matter of course, is the natural outcome of regular practice. You require no major effort. In fact trying hard will turn your practices into a humdrum, painful, even injurious routine and will eventually slow down your progress Subsequently, and interestingly, the therapeutic effect of Yoga is the direct result of involving the mind totally in inspiring (breathing) the body to awaken.
Contrary to popular – or unpopular – perception, Yoga positions are not about how far you can reach to touch your toes or how many repetitions you can perform. It is all about paying attention to how your body feels; how it moves without that excruciating pain or agony! Yoga is all about breathing correctly about integrating that breath into your being. Conscious Yoga doesn’t call for you to force or strain your never or sinew. Meaning to say, right Yoga is learning how to do things right, do less that gets you more!

Ironically, by doing less – correctly – Yoga enhances your strength, energy, vitality, flexibility and levels of endurance. Accordingly, your body and mind start to become more balanced until, eventually, you find it takes so much less energy to move through the day. Yes, any and everyone can do less…and get a lot, lot more!
Over all Yoga has detailed explanation which can not be explained in written. It can be understand through practicing yoga, this is a subjective (practical ) science ,not objective or theoritical science,........so lets do yoga yourself & feel the miracle science.

Note:- “kCn ;ksx gSa u fd ;ksxk Yoga- Yoga as per rules of the international alphabet of Sanskrit translation(IASST) ‘a’ at the end of Indian words like Yoga,Krishna,Rama,Shiva,Ashoka, should be prounced as ‘v’ as in above and not as ‘vk’ as in after

SURYA NAMASKAR/SUN SALUTATION

SURYA NAMASKAR/SUN SALUTATION

"A person who salutes sun regularly, he never be poor for thousands of births"

Basically it set of 12 Asans continously. Seven asans continue and the next five are repeatation of others .We are special in sun saluting bcoz we perform sun saluting with vedic mantras.

Another aspect , pouring water to sun by a pot standing in sun light with a spiritual heart also callid suryanamaskar (Ardhya / Sun saluting)

How to do?

As mentioned Surya Namaskar is a flowing series of 12 yoga postures. These are described below.

Synchronizing the breath with the movements of the body is very important. The basic breathing principle is to inhale during backward bending postures and exhale during forward bending postures.

The Twelve Postures:

1. Pranamasana (Salutation posture)
Stand erect with feet together. Join the palms together in front of the chest. Concentrate on standing straight, steady and in a prayerful attitude. This posture helps to induce a state of introversion, relaxation and calmness. It activates the anahata chakra. Exhale fully.

2. Hastauttanasana (Raised arm posture)
Inhaling stretch both arms above the head, palms facing upward. Arch the back and stretch the whole body. This posture stretches the chest and the abdomen and lifts the Prana (energy) upward to the upper parts of the body propelled by inhalation.

3. Padahastasana (Hand to foot posture)
Exhaling bend the body forward and down, keeping the spine straight. Avoid collapsing the chest or "over-rounding" the upper back. Keep the legs straight and perpendicular to the ground. The knees may be allowed to bend a little if needed. This posture massages the abdominal organs, especially the liver, kidneys, pancreas, adrenals, uterus and ovaries. The power of digestion increases and female disorders such as prolapse and menstrual irregularities are relieved. A healthy flow of blood is sent to the spinal nerves as they are stretched and toned. The hamstring muscles at the back of the thigh and calf muscles are stretched and toned. Inversion increases blood flow to the brain. The Prana is channeled to the lower regions of the body propelled by exhalation.

4. Ashwa Sanchalanasana (Equestrian posture)
On your next inhalation, extend the left leg back and drop the knee to the ground. The right knee is bent and kept between the hands and the right foot placed flat on the ground. Lift the spine and open the chest. Concentrate at the eyebrow center.

5. Parvatasana (Mountain posture)
On the kumbhaka bring the right leg back to join with the left leg. Simultaneously raise the buttocks and lower the head between the arms, so that the body forms a triangle with the floor. Try to place the heels flat on the ground. Focus awareness at the neck area. This posture strengthens the nerves and muscles in the arms and legs, stretches the calf muscles and Achilles' tendons and makes the spine straight and taut. It relieves varicose veins and tones spinal nerves. Maintaining the posture take a deep inhalation

6. Ashtanga Namaskara (Salutation with eight limbs)
Exhaling gently drop both knees to the ground and slowly slide the body down at an angle as you bring the chest and chin to the ground. All eight limbs - toes, knees, chest, hands and chin - touch the floor. The buttocks are kept up. Hold the breath. This posture develops the chest and strengthens arms. It sends additional blood to this area helping to rejuvenate the nerves.

7. Bhujangasana (Cobra posture)
On the inhalation, lower the hips while pushing the chest forward and upward with the hands, until the spine is fully arched and the head is facing up. The knees and lower abdomen remain above the floor. Focus the awareness at the base of spine and feel the tension from the forward pull. This pose gives dynamic expansion to the organs of the chest and abdomen, relieving many ailments such as asthma, constipation, indigestion, kidney and liver problems. It is very helpful in relieving tension in the back muscles and spinal nerves.

8. Parvatasana (Mountain posture)
kumbhaka and get back to posture 5.

9. Ashwa Sanchalanasana (Equestrian posture)
exhale and swing the right leg forward between the hands. The left leg remains back. Resume posture 4.

10. Padahastasana (Hand to foot posture)
puraka, bring the left foot forward. Join both legs and resume posture 3

11. Hastauttanasana (Raised arm posture)
kumbhaka, raise the trunk up and bend backward. Resume posture 2.

12. Pranamasana (Salutation posture)
Recaka,Straighten the body and bring the hands in front of the chest. Resume posture 1

Kundalini & Chakras

Kundalini & Chakras
Kundalini is a special power, which lives in muladhr chakra (Pelvic plexus & coccygeum ganglion),Yoge trigger kundaline & try to get this power.

According to Yoga texts Eda,Pingala & Sarasvati are three Nadis (Nerves)which bears the pranvayu(Basically oxygen) & maintains all physiological actions of body. And six Chakras (Bundles) made from these nerves are situated from inferior to superior part of body.In body Pran (oxygen) folws through tese chakras.

According to site these chakras have special powers .

Yoga texts includes the methods of control/gain of these powers. These chakras are made of autonomos nerves so these work independently. These are not in our control. To make control over these we are to perform yogic exercises.

These are as follows

• Muladhar chakra (Anatomically pelvic plexus & coccyguem ganglion)

• Swadhisthan chakra (Anatomically hypogastric or aorotic plexus)

• Manipur chakra(Solar plexus)

• Anahat chakra (Cardiac plexus)

• Vishudha chakra (cervical or carotid plexus)

• Agya chakra(Cavernous plexus ; optic thalamus)
& Sahstrasar chakra or BrahmrandhraSpiral shaped kundalini gives power after stimulation(triggering) & when this power passes through different chakras and meets with sahastrasar chakra then a indivisual meets Almighty and a person become very powerful with sidhies(Special divine powers)
